NH Referees attend 2024 USYS Eastern Regional Championships
The 2024 US Youth Soccer Eastern Regional Championships took place June 27 – July 3 in Charleston and Barboursville, West Virginia. The event featured Boys and Girls teams in the U12 through U19 age groups who competed for a regional championship. In addition to the team, referees from all members associations of the Eastern Region participate in the event as a way to develop their skills and hopefully earn the right to represent the Eastern Region at the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series in Orlando, Florida.
The referees that attended the event as a part of the New Hampshire State Referee Committee delegation are as follows:

- William Jones – Referee
- Kendra Santoro – Referee
- Mark Sadler – SRA / Referee Coach
- Steve Zoldak – Referee Mentor
We would also like to thank Frank Scarito (SYRA) for his time and dedication to the Eastern Region as he serves on the East Region Referee Committee. Frank spends endless hours working to improve the referee committee here at home in NH as well as in the Eastern Region.
We would also like to congratulate William Jones on his selection based on performance at this event, to represent the Eastern Region at the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series as an Assistant Referee. Matthew Urrea was also selected to represent the Eastern Region at the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series as a referee based on his performance at the 2023 USYS National Championship series. This is one of the greatest honors as a youth soccer referee and we wish them the best as they travel to Orlando July 23 – July 28. Congratulations!
