Cullen Madden Earns U.S. Soccer Referee Coach License
Please join us in congratulating Cullen Madden, our State Youth Referee Administrator (SYRA), on earning his U.S. Soccer Referee Coach License. Cullen completed the intensive July 24–27 course in Boxboro, Massachusetts, marking a major milestone in his career and a win for referee development in New Hampshire.
Certification Achievement
The U.S. Soccer Referee Coach License equips Cullen with advanced skills to evaluate, mentor, and support match officials. Over four days of workshops, practical sessions, and assessments, he demonstrated the knowledge and commitment required to elevate refereeing standards at every level.
Role and Responsibilities
As a licensed Referee Coach, Cullen will:
- Observe and assess referees during matches
- Deliver constructive, in-the-moment feedback
- Develop personalized growth plans for officials
- Facilitate classroom and on-field training sessions
