NHSA Recognizes NHSRC Referees at Annual Awards Banquet

On November 7, 2024, the New Hampshire Soccer Association held the NHSA Annual Awards Banquet at the Puritan Backroom in Manchester, NH. Many of NHSRC’s referees were recognized at the banquet and two referees received awards for Female and Male Youth Referee’s of the Year.

Sierra Mercer

Sierra has worked in many of New Hampshire’s youth leagues around the state. Sierra has been recognized by fellow referees, referee mentors, and coaches as a high performing referee. This recognition is well deserved and we look forward to seeing what great things are ahead of Sierra in her soccer career. Congratulations on receiving this award, Sierra!

Dante Castellano
NHSRC Referee

Dante has worked in many of NH’s soccer leagues including MLS Next, LHIFA, and many more. This year, Dante attended the MLS Next Flex event in Maryland May 10 – 14, 2024, where he was selected to referee at the MLS Next Cup Playoffs & Showcase in Tennessee June 15 – 23, 2024. Dante has quickly become a referee to watch in NH and we look forward to seeing where he goes in the future. Congratulations, Dante!

2024 Eastern Regional Championship Referees Recognized

At the NHSA Awards Banquet, the two New Hampshire Referee’s that were selected to the USYS National Championships in Florida were recognized for their achievements.
