Jones and Urrea Officiate at the 2024 USYS National Championships

Congratulations to William Jones and Matthew Urrea on their performance at the 2024 USYS National Championships in Orlando, FL from July 23 – July 28. A further congratulations to William for being selected to officiate the U13 Girls Championship match as Assistant Referee 1.

William was selected out of the referees who attended the US Youth Soccer Eastern Regional Championships this past June. Matthew was selected as a returning official based on his performance at the 2023 National Championships. Both attended the 2024 USYS National Event as representatives of the East Region and the state of New Hampshire.

The US Youth National Championships are some of the most prestigious youth soccer matches any youth soccer referee can officiate. These two officials worked very hard and have spent years working on their abilities to be able to be selected for this event. We could not be more proud of their accomplishments and wish them continued success in the future!
