NEW U.S. Soccer Women’s Initiative
Referee Development
U.S. Soccer has launched a Women’s Initiative program to provide continuing education to women referees. The program’s goal is to provide opportunities to all women that wish to improve their skills. To start there will be monthly webinars with guest speakers. We are working with membership to find opportunities to attend events so we can send referees to competitions.
This program will be led by Nami Imaizumi, National Referee Coach and retired FIFA Referee. Nami was instrumental in starting a yearly symposium for women referees in Florida.
