2021 Young Referee of the Year Awarded

On Friday, June 18th, 2021, two young NH referees were honored with the Young Referee of Year Awards from the New Hampshire Soccer Association.  Based on being awarded this honor from the State Association, both will be considered for East Region Youth Referee of the Year honors.

Kendra Santoro was honored with the Young Female Referee of the Year.  Kendra is entering her sixth year as a Grassroots Referee.  She has progressed from youth matches and is now starting to work in adult matches as well.  Along the way, she has impressed many with her work ethic and desire to listen and grow as a referee.

Tristan Deblois was honored with the Young Male Referee of the Year.  Tristan has been a referee for five years as a Grassroots Referee.  He has shown commitment to the program and stepped up to help himself grow as a referee by seeking opportunities in competitions outside New Hampshire such as the USYS East Region ODP event.

When you see these two young referees congratulate them on having this honor bestowed upon them through their hard work and dedication to the US Soccer Referee Program.
